A commission for Punk Storm Rocks! (<-go check out the tumblr!!!)

I think we can all agree that she is the best Ororo of them all. I was extremely happy and excited by this commission because she is my all time favorite X-Men character and Im a sucker for girls in mohawks (if that’s not already apparent). But I noticed that people just draw her with some torn clothes and a mohawk, it’s never about the actual “punk” aspect so I thought she would, of course, cover her jean jacket with buttons, pins and studs. She isn’t Punk Storm for no reason, she has to fly the colors!

Something I whipped up last night in about 3 hours. Sometimes you get those urges and sometimes you have to obey them. Im really pleased with how it turned out.

There are lyrics that go along with it. More like lyrics that it’s based on. I might post them later.

The Dark Crystal

I always see poster like images from this movie featuring all the characters and the Crystal, telling the whole story in one image. I love images like that. But for this piece I really just wanted to show one moment, something that showed some of the beauty of the world that Jim Henson, Frank Oz and Brian Froud created. Had a lot of fun with this one so I can definitely see more fan art to come when I have some free time.
